Chocolate Donuts (99% Sugar-Free)

Now made Responsibly Sweet with 46% Less Carbs and 96% Less Sugar

Serves 10
Ingredients

  • 300g Lakanto Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 70g Unsalted Butter
  • 4 Tbsp Full Fat Milk
  • ½ tsp bicarb soda

Chocolate Icing

  • 200g Sugar Free Dark Chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Lakanto Bakers Classic Syrup

Method
For The Cake

  1. Preheat your oven to 175 Celsius
  2. In Medium Sized Bowl Whisk the eggs and Milk. Melt the butter and
    then whisk the butter into the eggs. Add the Lakanto Chocolate Cake
    mix and whisk until it forms a smooth batter. Add the milk and Bi carb
    until the batter is smooth and slightly loose.
  3. Spoon batter into a well greased donut pan. I used a silicone mini
    donut pan. Make sure you do not overfill and lose that all important
    hole!
  4. Bake 13-15 minutes or until done.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a water bath (place a smaller bowl with the chocolate inside a larger bowl which you have filled with boiling water. The heat will gently melt the chocolate). Add Lakanto Bakers Classic Syrup to achieve the desired sweetness. Wait until it has cooled down a little.
  6. Dip the cooled donuts into the chocolate (double dip if you want a thicker glaze) and place in the fridge until the chocolate coating has set.
